Strawberry Sundae

As we know, Bonne Bell has always been the queen of delicious strawberry flavors. The sweet and ultra-rare Strawberry Sundae Lip Smacker first appeared on the scene in 1996 in a special Strawberry Jams promotion, alongside Strawberry Chocolate and Strawberry Banana. While Strawberry Banana stayed for the long-haul and joined the original line-up, Strawberry Chocolate and Strawberry Sundae remained limited edition and still have yet to be released again.

  1. I wonder why the strawberry sundae and strawberry chocolate weren't re-released during the 40th anniversary. I couldn't use half of the strawberry set because I'm allergic to them. I would have loved these flavors and strawberry kiwi instead.

    1. There were so many flavors I would of loved to see make a comeback for the 40th celebration! Maybe, eventually, they still will. I hope Markwins knows the flavor history and has the old flavor formula recipes. That's a pity that you're allergic to certain strawberry formulas! What is it about them? Also, I LOVE Strawberry Kiwi for so many reasons and also sad they discontinued it. It has so much history in the 1990's Lip Smacker line-up and I know a lot of people who use it and claim it as a their favorite.

    2. I think it's the dyes. I'm allergic to Strawberry Fanta the most.

  2. What does this one taste/smell like? Are there any recent ones that compare to it?

    1. The closest thing they make to it nowadays would be if you toned down the flavor of Strawberry Vanilla quite a bit and added the Cotton Candy Lip Smacker to it. A very light and sugary strawberry.
